Fuel Station FAQ
What does a sponsorship cost?
The gas the transaction uses, plus 0.001 SUI. Both come from the tank. The fee also applies when the transaction fails on chain. The API call costs 5 credits from your plan.
Is it custodial?
No. Users sign with their own keys. Tank keys never leave Inodra. The sponsor signature only pays gas. See Security.
Does it work on testnet?
Yes. Testnet tanks follow the same rules and fees as mainnet. Fund testnet tanks from the dashboard faucet or any testnet wallet.
Which wallets work?
Any wallet that signs Sui transaction bytes. Ed25519, Secp256k1, Secp256r1, MultiSig, and zkLogin signatures are accepted. Wallet-standard wallets through dapp-kit work without changes.
Does it work with zkLogin?
Yes. Inodra passes zkLogin signatures to the node for verification. Pair the Fuel Station with Smart Wallets for gasless social-login onboarding.
Does the user need any SUI?
No. The user needs no SUI for gas. If the transaction moves the user's own coins, the user needs those coins.
Can I sponsor from my frontend?
Yes, with care. Use a key with only the Sponsor scope, set an origin allowlist, and tighten the tank's rules. A frontend key can be read by anyone who loads your page. See Security.
What if the transaction fails on chain?
You get 200 with "status": "failure" and the abort reason in effects.executionError. The tank paid the gas and the fee. Fix the transaction and submit a new one.
What if I get a 202?
The transaction was sent and Inodra lost the result. Poll GET /v1/gas/transactions/{digest}. Do not resubmit. See the pending case.
Can I test without spending?
There is no dry run. Use testnet. Simulate the transaction yourself with the gRPC gateway before you submit if you want to check it.
How many tanks can I have?
One per project on the free plan. 3, 5, 10, and 20 on Team, Growth, Professional, and Business. Unlimited on Enterprise. Each tank is bound to one network.
Can a user drain my tank?
Not beyond the rules. Set dailyCapMist, maxSponsorshipsPerSenderPerDay, and allowedTargets. Structural checks stop the sender from touching the tank's SUI. See Rules.
How do I get my SUI back?
Refund from the dashboard. Connect the destination wallet and sign a message. See Refund.
What is the sweep?
Inodra collects its fees from the tank once they reach 1 SUI. The sweep pays its own gas from the fees. See Owed fees and sweeps.
Where do I see activity?
The tank card in the dashboard lists deposits, sponsorships, refunds, and sweeps with digests.
